Sonic Innovation for Santos de Cartier: "The Legendary Thrill"
Where pioneering design, horological history, and advanced sound architecture collide. International music designer Aggness DJ composed the exclusive, night-and-day audio landscape for Cartier's monumental exhibition, "The Legendary Thrill", a premier headlining activation during Milan Design Week.
Hosted at the historic neoclassical landmark Arco della Pace (Arch of Peace) in Milan, the striking, futuristic 60-meter transparent pavilion was engineered by the acclaimed European creative studio Giò Forma. Designed to celebrate the legendary legacy of Alberto Santos-Dumont—the aviation pioneer who inspired Louis Cartier to create the world’s first modern wristwatch in 1904—the entire installation functioned as a living, breathing sensory ecosystem animated by projections, light, and music.
The Performance Architecture:
The Setting: Caselli Daziari at Arco della Pace, Milan—a breathtaking fusion of late 18th-century stone architecture and high-tech crystal structures.
The Curation: A highly sophisticated, evolving sonic progression featuring deep atmospheric house, avant-garde electronic textures, and sleek minimalist grooves engineered to match the pavilion’s kinetic LED and visual projections.
The Elite Audience: An international assembly of global design visionaries, fashion tastemakers, collectors, and corporate executives.
